The mission of the College of Sciences and
Mathematics Advising and Career Center is:
To help students successfully make the
transition into college life.
To assist students in making responsible decisions consistent with
interests, goals, abilities, and degree requirements.
Toguide/monitor academic progress of all Science and Math students.
General Information:
In the College of Sciences and Mathematics, students must be
advised each semester.
All students must be TSI complete to enroll in Science major
courses and complete all developmental work.
All students in the College of Sciences and Mathematics, in consultation with the dean
and the chair of a department, select a faculty adviser.
The program for each semester, the major and minor programs, and all other
requirements for the baccalaureate degree are worked out by the
student in consultation with the adviser.
Participation in this counseling program is a requirement for all
students registered in this college and provides each with
the opportunity to secure qualified advice regarding academic problems and programs.

The Academic Advising Center will help
you select courses that will work toward almost every major.
