Learning teams consist of four members. Each member has an assigned
responsibility each day.
| This course uses integrated lecture and lab as the
instructional method for presenting introductory physical science content
in a manner that shows that science can be an exciting and rewarding experience
for all students.
Extensive use of cooperative team learning is used in
order to help address the different learning styles of class participants.

Physical Science Course for Elementary Education Majors |
| This
course is designed for elementary education students as a pre-service
course for future teachers. It presents physics and chemistry concepts
in an enquiry based atmosphere. Content and interactive lectures
are seamlessly combined with hands-on laboratory exercises to give
both conceptual and kinetic understanding of physical science principles.
Classroom assistants
are elementary education majors who have interest in math and science.
