Middle School Science

This middle school science program is presented by the College of Sciences and Mathematics and the College of Education in order to help meet the need for more middle school science teachers who are prepared to teach middle school science in a manner that is suitable for the elementary school classroom. Most of the courses in this middle school science program use integrated lecture and lab as the instructional method for presenting middle school science content.

The goal of our middle school science program is to train teachers who are knowledgeable in science content and possess experiences and skills which will enable them to teach "hands-on"  activity oriented middle school science.
