The
primary purpose of the College of Sciences and
Mathematics is to contribute to the liberal education of all students
through the presentation of fundamental concepts and methods of
science and mathematics.
Our goal is to provide the counseling and education required for professional programs in health and engineering sciences and for professional studies and careers of a scientific or mathematical nature.
Every year more than a dozen graduates from the SFA College of Sciences & Math pursue doctoral degrees in sciences or mathematics at major research universities with funding from institutions such as the National Science Foundation.
