Dr.
Duben earned a doctorate in physical chemistry from Pennsylvania State
University, and he graduated summa cum
laude with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a minor in
mathematics from Marquette University. At Southeast Missouri State
University since 1983, he has been chair of the Department of Computer
Science since 1999 and served as associate dean of the College of Science
and Technology from 1994-1999.
He was
an outstanding candidate for the position of dean.

(6/20/05) NEW NURSING FUNDING EARMARKED FOR SFA
- Staples successfully advocated for funding for rural nursing program -
NACOGDOCHES -- State Sen. Todd Staples announced an additional $1.7 million
for a rural nursing initiative at Stephen F. Austin State University. This
new funding will be used to hire additional full-time faculty and provide
other support for increased enrollment in the nursing program to provide
